This Saturday, July 23 is National Hot Dog Day. Chicago has its own, unique brand of hot dog and I think I read somewhere that the city houses more wiener joints (grow up, children) than it does fast food chains. I’ll be in Chicago this weekend to see if that is accurate and will report my findings next week. And if you’re not into hot dogs, don’t worry. I’ll be eating deep dish and/or stuffed pizza and hopefully find out if there is a difference between the two. Also, whatever else I can fit in my gullet.
